Wie \u00fcberall auf der Welt trifft es die \u00c4rmsten auf Ometepe besonders hart. Das \u00f6ffentliche Gesundheitssystem reicht nicht aus, um alle Menschen ad\u00e4quat zu versorgen. Versicherte Arbeitnehmer genie\u00dfen eine bessere Versorgung und wer es sich finanziell leisten kann, l\u00e4sst sich bevorzugt vom privaten Sektor behandeln. Au\u00dferdem nehmen die Gesundheitsvorsorge und das -bewusstsein mit zunehmenden Einkommen zu. Ein Grund f\u00fcr uns, auch etwas gegen die Armut zu unternehmen. Vor allem Frauen haben es auf Ometepe schwer, sich ihr Einkommen zu sichern.
